Every year, Oklahoma City Mom asks Oklahoman families what their favorite and most recommended parenting-related services and professionals.
I feel so incredibly honored that for the Oklahoma City Mom’s awards for 2020, I was nominated in the Best OKC Doula category! Thank you to anyone who chose to nominate me. I appreciate you so much!
This year, the Oklahoma City Mom website saw 4x the amount of nominations compared to previous years and I was among the most nominated group. I can’t help but feel so excited! There are SO MANY other incredible providers and businesses listed for Oklahoman families to vote for. There are also several other doulas listed who are fantastic birth professionals!
The other categories include best Oklahoma City; boutique, midwife, OBGYN, hospital, lactation consultant, daycare, kid-friendly restaurant, place to get a cup of coffee, date spot, pediatrician, and more!
This nomination list is also a great resource to get ideas on local businesses you can choose to support. It is more important than ever to support our local and small businesses. Something I really adore about Oklahoma City is its love for small and local businesses.

Jenni Jenkins – Sekine is an Oklahoma City Bereavement, Birth, & Postpartum doula and Child Birth Educator who serves her Central Oklahoma community. She is also a midwifery assistant with Holistic Birthing Services and began her journey as a student midwife with the Midwives College of Utah in 2022.
Jenni is also the creator & facilitator of the Kaleidoscope OKC LGBTQ Family Support Group & the Nurture Oklahoma Live Interview Series.
