This Friday, the Oklahoma City Plaza District is throwing a Pride on the Plaza Event to celebrate Pride! 

The Thrive Mama Collective invited the Kaleidoscope LGBTQ+ Family Support Group to set up at the TMC store for the event. We will be creating rainbow crown crafts with kiddos in front of the Thrive Mama Collective store. If the weather isn’t great for outdoor activities, the craft will be moved inside to the back of the building in the meet-up area.  Check out the Facebook event page for the upcoming event by clicking here. 

The Kaleidoscope LGBTQ Family Support Group is intended for single & partnered LGBTQ+ parents, LBTGQ+ identifying children, parents of LBTGQ+ identifying children, those who are on their LGBTQ+ conception journey, as well as allies and family members. LGBTQ Family Support groups like Kaleidoscope offer peer to peer support to LGTBQ+ Families whether they are partnered parents, single parents, those considering adoption or surrogacy, pregnant persons, parents of LGBTQ children, and/or allies. I am so thankful that Thrive Mama Collective has been so welcoming and supportive of Kaleidoscope OKC. We held our first meeting in 2020 in the Thrive Mama meet-up space. It made my heart so happy to see so many families and kiddos hanging out together in that back room, making connections and building new friendships.
